About
As an aspiring advertising professional, I am passionate about using strategic communication and creative problem solving to drive business results.

Throughout my academic journey, I have been active in Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).

In addition to my PRSSA involvement, I have gained hands-on experience working with a variety of design and content creation tools, including the Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. These technical skills, combined with my strong foundation in advertising principles and strategic thinking, have allowed me to produce high-quality, visually compelling content that resonates with target audiences.

This coming summer of 2024, I will be embarking on my first professional internship opportunity with a reputable Graphic Design and Marketing agency. I am thrilled to have been selected for this role, as it will allow me to apply knowledge and technical skills I have learned throughout my academic studies in a real-world, hands-on setting.
I am eager to leverage my diverse skillset and experiences to contribute to the success of a dynamic advertising agency or in-house marketing team.

Ad Redesign
The ADPR 3515 course challenged students to take a "bad ad" - one that failed to follow basic design principles - and give it a complete makeover. For my project, I chose to redesign an advertisement for a top-notch DJ services company.Using Adobe Photoshop, I overhauled the layout, colors, typography, and other visual elements of the original ad. The goal was to transform it into a sleek, eye-catching design that effectively communicated the company's brand and services. This project allowed me to apply the design skills and principles I've been learning in the ADPR program. It was a great opportunity to get hands-on experience with professional design software and tackle the challenge of revamping a subpar advertisement into something truly compelling.

Creating Inclusive Content Infographic
My group of three other members and I recently completed the Creating Inclusive Content course on LinkedIn Learning. After reviewing the course material, we chose to focus our efforts on the "Making Inclusive Type Choices" chapter and created an infographic highlighting different typography options and how they support inclusivity. In our infographic, we provided explanations on how various type choices can cater to diverse audiences, such as using clear and legible fonts, considering accessibility for users with visual impairments, and selecting typefaces that represent a range of cultural backgrounds. By thoroughly exploring this specific chapter, our group demonstrated a commitment to developing inclusive design skills and creating content that is accessible and representative of the broader community.
Color Expression Assignment
I created a design in Adobe Photoshop, utilizing Adobe Color to select a personalized color palette that evoked a "happy" mood. After carefully curating the color scheme, I sought out a song lyric that would complement the visual style. I ultimately chose the upbeat and joyful lyrics from Justin Timberlake's hit song "Can't Stop the Feeling" as the inspiration for my design.Through the strategic use of color, I was able to visually express the energy and positivity of the song's lyrics. The vibrant hues and playful tones I selected using Adobe Color helped to capture the celebratory and infectious nature of the track. By thoughtfully aligning the color palette with the musical influence, I was able to create a cohesive and visually engaging design that effectively conveyed the "happy" mood I had envisioned.
